Theology Enthusiast and Explorer of Dark Sectors ; Seeking to Unify Seemingly Opposing Ideas Matt graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, MI with a B.S. in physics and a B.S. in mechanical engineering. He is currently a PhD candidate in experimental particle physics at Stanford University working with the Heavy Photon Search collaboration, an experiment dedicated to understanding the fundamental nature of dark matter. He currently serves as the founding co-chair of the newly formed Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Scientific Affiliation which connects local Bay Area Christians in science and technology. In his spare time, he enjoys all forms of activity including soccer, baseball, skiing, and hiking mountains, as well as non-athletic activities such as traveling, eating, playing games, and reading theology.
